I already talked to you about my college and Anaikatti outbound program. There is a professor named ‘Ajith’. He used give us many quotes and advises on life and How can you lead a better life by helping others.
During the Anaikatti trip, he project some of the best movies ever made that teaches us about life and profession. In the first week, ‘Life is Beautiful’ movie is projected. The second week, ‘Patch Adams’ was played by him to us.
The movie was one of the best I have ever seen. I could relate that to me in occasions.
There is a scene where Patch Adams helps the co patient to pee by going crazy along with his mate. It is a wonderful scene. The brief dialogue of the Arthur Mendelson was excellent,
"You’re focusing on the problem, if you focus on the problem, you can’t see the solution. Never focus on the problem, look beyond. See what no one else sees. See what everyone else chooses not to see, out of fear and conformity and laziness. See the whole world a new each day."
I discussed this one in one of my presentations.
The main agenda of the real Patch Adams, in my view, will be "the real happiness lies in making others happy".
So don’t run for Joy, make others joy and it will come to you.
“Laughter enhances the blood flow to the body’s extremities and improves cardiovascular function. Laughter releases Endorphin and other natural mood elevating and pain-killing chemicals, improves the transfer of oxygen and nutrients to internal organs.
Laughter boosts the immune system and helps the body fight off disease, cancer cells as well as viral, bacterial and other infections. Being happy is the best cure of all diseases.”
What a quote it is???. The upcoming one is a real inspiring one for the Doctors and medical students.
“What’s wrong with death sir? What are we so mortally afraid of? Why can’t we treat death with a certain amount of humanity and dignity, and decency, and God forbid, maybe even humor. Death is not the enemy gentlemen. If we’re going to fight a disease, let’s fight one of the most terrible diseases of all, indifference.”
This is a must watch for everyone. This movie will teach us what is life and how it had to be. Whenever I am depressed, I used to watch this movie. At the end, I will be enlightened and moves forward to make others joy. I wanted you to also practice this. You will…
